painting wheels black

I am thinking about painting the inside of my wheels black because they are pitting. What kind of paint would you all recommend to use?

If you can get them powder coated that would be best. If not then any paint will prolly work. Just use a bunch of coats.

Scuff 'em up with some scotch brite, steel wool, or sandpaper. Hit 'em with some self-etching primer (Walmart or Auto parts store ~$4-5/can), then paint with your favorite paint. Probably best to look into some sort of clear coat or polyurethane coating to help it hold up.
