Bad news guys.....I had to cancel my order due to no one being able to tell me when they are actually going to arrive My tires are down to slicks and cant believe they are still holding actually. However, I need some damn tires now. I really really wanted that size, but I guess its better I go back with a tire that is plentiful incase something goes wrong a new one is easy to get and doesnt take 2 months and everyone saying they will be here next week. The 255 may be here tomorrow. Still no one can tell me. I unfortunately dont have the luxury of waiting on them. Would be an awesome dually tire though. I was going to just go with the 285 instead, but dont have the $320 for a good set of spacers so going with the old 235/80/17 Tempra Trail Cutter RT. Nice looking tire we will see how they hold up. Sorry to disappoint guys

That's too bad Loco, but a guy can only hold his breath so long. Myself, I'll be running the stock stuff this winter and up here the snow doesn't leave till late March-early April. Someone will have a set by then or at least know a guy who's sister dated a guy who's cousin saw a set.

Cheers for the effort.

The 35x12.5 17s KM2s are working out pretty good so far. Only had them for about a week. Been dove hunting in tough fields full of mesquit trees and tough roads and they have been great. I don't have many miles on them yet ,but they are much quiter than the Nitto Mud Grapplers I have had !!!! The Nitto's are the best in the mud but have no highway miles and think the KM2s may be the answer I have been looking for, good off road, highway and rugged terrain. I will keep yall posted. I am in Denton ,Texas and do not understand the problems with other getting these tires in common sizes. Let me know if I can help out.

^ + 1. Also the tires size and load index is very important for your tires life. Too many people try to run too wide of a tire on a narrow wheel. This can significantly reduce the life of your tires even when running the correct psi and rotating regularly.

Man that sucks! Another guy who is a pipeliner and his rig weighs in around 11k with all his equip has 50k on his and says he still has plenty of tread left. I hate when a tire cant be consistent. Sure makes finding a good one for the money hard to do.

285's are not approved for a 6" wide wheel. You may be able to get someone to mount them on there but the tire will be pinched and your tire's life will be significantly reduced. Running the correct size Tires for your wheels on any vehicle can make a big difference in life, its effects are even more drastic when your dealing with heavy vehicles.
