I don't have it here, but if I remember correctly, it's about halfway between the rim and the tread. It's a diagonal cut. Now that I think about it, it might even be a little over 2" long.

Yeah, this is an old thread. I've since gotten rid of the tires and got some new ones. A friend of mine bought them from me and is using them on his hunting rig. They work just great for his purpose.
i know this is an old thread and it dosent matter now but there isnt a tire shop within 100 miles of me that will patch a sidewall, but your buddy should be golden with them on a hunting rig

I got a sidewall cut in my tire once but it was on a nissan 240sx, and I used several plugs and it worked fine. But keep in mind I was 16, Broke, with NO common sense! I got away with a "nrig" fix on a light car, I wouldn't trust something like that on a 7K+ truck!
