Too wide?
Im really wanting to buy some 16.5x14" WELD wheels for sale in my area.. Very nice rims and priced just right. My truck is getting its 5" Lift as soon at top gun ships the rest of the kit. So how about a set of 36-14.5x16.5 STS on these rims with a set of Bushwacker flairs.. Or is this just too Friggin wide and i should stick with a 12.5 on a 12" rim.. PS i dont know the back spacing today but i can find out tomorrow.. Is my lust for these wheels Screwing with my judgment?

if they only have a 4.5 to 5 inch backspacing your tires are going to be a mile outside of the wheel well.....i think you will rub on the body.. i just put the top gun kit on this weekend and stack spacers to boot and my 35's look like 31's on a stock truck... if they r cheap give them a shot, but if it was me i would 12's at the most

Theres no such thing as too wide of wheels and tires in my eyes! JMO A 5" lift will not be tall enuf to clear the sweep of a 14" wide wheel with 36's.

It will clear (barely) but if your going to be going off road id suggest a smaller width. like 10'' or 12''.

No offroad here.. too damn expensive.. Just 90%highway but with my 4:10 truck it will like the highway better with something closer to a 36-38" tire than the 33" i have now.. I figure it would rub pretty bad but you never know.. There not "cheap" enough to buy w/o knowing for sure.. Hey barracuda, Why not send me some Pics, price and anyother info to marie40n@yahoo.com
