Big rig kit and stock brakes
i know that it will affect the brakes with more rolling resistance. but for those of you that have them on stock brakes, do you have any trouble stoping. i'm quessing with a good load it would put a strain on the brakes. A buddy of mine is selling his truck and is offering me his rims w/ tires (less than 5,000miles) for $3500. I know he takes care of his stuff, it is 6 aluminum rims instead of 4 aluminum and 2 steel, only thing is they are a street tire, and i need a dual purpose tire. Not too aggressive but enough to get me through some mud like a allterrain. Any one interested in the street tires, i'll post later what they are.

I haven't had any trouble stopping what so ever. The difference is in the sudden stops at higher speeds, but is not a big problem. Under normal braking the stock brakes do just fine and there is no noticable difference from the stock setup. I don't know of anyone that has even upgraded the brakes after a 22.5 conversion. Also the steer tires will actually go better than what you would think. The sure weight of the wheels and tires helps with traction.
