Wheel offset

I have a 08 2500 diesel short bed. What is the correct offset for my wheels. I want to buy new wheels but dont want to buy the wrong offset size. Any pics would be good.

Your stock wheels are roughly a +35 offset. The less the offset the more they will stick out and the more rubbing issues you will encounter. Size of tire also has a huge factor in rubbing. Lets say you have a 2.5" leveling kit on your truck. You are running 35" tires. If you have those 35's on your stock rim you will be fine. If those 35's are on a aftermarket rim with a -25 offset it will not work without rubbing really hardto where you could tear up your fender. I am leveled out with 315's. my stocks rims didn't cause rubbing, but my new rims that are +10 offset rubbed a little. They don't now because I trimmed the inside of my fender and wheel well liner! Hope this makes sense and helps a little!
