What wheels to go with???

99 Quad Cab short bed 2wd. Dark green, black full replacement Ranch Hand style front and rear bumpers, stock ride height. Was thinkn' bout level kit and either 20x10 XD Black Hoss or Black Magic wheels with 305 50r20s. Or 18x9 with a 285 60r18. What would look the best?? Anyone have any pictures of any similar set-ups??

I like the hoss or the new ambush rims. i personally like the way 18's look better than 20's.

20's are just a little bit too much rim for me. I would personally have more tire.

anything over 18" is too big for a 2nd gen. A 17" wheel is a great balance on a 2nd gen truck imo.

I like 20's al the way. As long as you get some good rubber.. I have 305/50/20 (which is a 32" tire), and feel that they look just O.K. I am getting 305/55/20 this year for that extra inch. especially since I'll be getting the beast leveled.

20's fit the 3rd gen trucks rather well since they arent as conventionally styled like the 2nd gens. 20's just look silly on the more "truck" appearing 2nd gens.

My opinion of course...

I would have to agree with that completely. The 20's just look out of place on a 2nd gen. A 17' with 33's or 35's just looks like it belongs there.

if you are planning on getting aftermarket wheels for your truck you need to get something with a low offset or even a plus offset. The wheels are going to stick way out and look like crap. if i were you i'd go with twenty's if you dont you will wish you did.

Whats the best for the 2nd gens?? The 18x9 hoss have a 5.71" bs or a 6.18" bs. lookin at the hankook rf10 275 65r18 or is this tire too narrow for the 9" rim.
