I've heard that the actual height gained by these leveling kits is more than the advertised size. For example, a 2" leveling kit can yield 3+ inches of extra height.

Does anyone have any details about what to expect with a 1.5" leveling kit?

I have a 2007 Dodge Ram 1500 SLT (2WD) and read that the 2" kit may not work well, and the 1.5" kit is recommended instead. Agree/disagree?

An almost 35" tire on a 2wd? I don't really see that fitting that great with a 1.5" level...

Maybe a 285/70/17

I have the Daystar two inch leveling kit on my 2004 2wd dually. I run 36.9 inch tall semi tires and wheels with no problems at all.

Do you have any more pics of that set up on your dually, Z06?

I'm looking at going with a 285/50/22 with no lift up front, thats a 33" tall tire and I think it will work no problem.

Fair enough...

I still can't see it working that great...with no rubbing at all. How wide are yours? I could see them working with narrower wheels maybe???

Ok, you got me. If I turn a full right steering lock and try to drive over the curb, I hear a slight rub on the rear of the front inner plastic fender panel. My wheels are 8 1/4 inches wide.
