Question 16" rear wheels on 3rd gen. ??

Has anyone mounted a 16" rim on the rear of there 3rd Gen.? I'm having NO luck finding proper sized 17" drag rubber. Thanks for any help!!

16" wheels will not fit on the 3rd. gens. The brake caliper is too big.

That's what i figured but i've heard stories of people shaving the calipers & using aftermarket wheels. Just hoping to find someone who has done it.

I've heard about grinding the calipers also, I may try it. Guys do it on 1/2 ton chevy's all the time.
