I ran 305/55-20 BFG's. The 285/65's are 1.3 inchs taller and almost an inch skinnier. Haha.... you saw my truck, I prefer the wider ones.

I had 305/55. They were 33.2" tall and 12.8" wide.

I like the width of the 305's, just have to make a decision if the side look of a lower profile tire will still be cool when i lift the front 3". Skin, yours are 33" right now, right?

Yes I have 33's. You should get some 315/55-20s. They will give you a wide foot print but they are also taller as to not give you the low profile look and will fill out your wheel well. They are equivalent to 35x12.5 tires.

the 315 = a 12.5 wide tire but the 55 i didnt think was a 35 though more of a 33 cause the 70 is a close to 35..

315 70 17 = 's a 35 12.50....

315 55-'s i think a 33 right?????

I heard some guy ran 285/60 or something on a 12" rim. I also want to downsize my tire size pretty soon. Though I have 12" wide rims which makes it a little hard for me to find something that wide for 20" rim and for our load rating. I was thinking 305/50/20 or 285/60 or something?
