Expensive Tires.

I have to get new tires and I want to replace my Nitto Terra's with BFGR A/T's. They (Discount Tire) quoted me 1732.24 exactly. I had some, but not quite that big on my D-Max and I don't remember them being that high. Had the price on tires shot up or is this just the price I pay for having 325's? I'm just concerned because I just dumped 12k in this truck and every other cent I put in it is depressing.

if you have a 325 on a 18 or 20, expect to pay mucho, even the bfg's head up around 3-4 hundo per tire, plus mount and balance, and they usually throw on the road hazard warrenty, which is like 10% plus tax. so check and see what else they're charging you for. but yeah anytire on a rim bigger then a 17 is gonna be muy expensive

I should have looked into that before I got rid of my stock rims but that's the price I pay. I'm gonna shop around town before I do this but I'm pretty sure it'll be at least 1500.

Thank you. I'm headed there right now to check and see how much shipping will cost.

dont forget about mount and balance dude. on 35's M&B costs more then you'd expect. atleast 100 -250. tire shops usually charge more becuase the "larger weight of the bigger tire is harder on the machines" liars.

plus tax if it ships in your state.

thats how i get mine done. a buddy has been working at a tire shop for a few years. so i find a cheap set of rubber on craigslist, give him a handle of jack and get them mounted. burn them off in 15000 and do it all over again. lol.

Not me. They see me pull up in that truck and assume I have all the money in the world (which I have none!) and pretty much ask me to bendover.
