Will 265/70/17's work on a '06 Dually?

Just wondering if anyone out there has this size tire on a '06 dually? Tire Discounters told me today that this size would not fit, the rear tires would rub. I would really like to get this size in the Dick Cepek Fun Country II. Any insight.?

I am also in need of new tires. I want to go big. Has anyone had any problems with 2" spacers between the rear wheels? Are the safe to haul/pull heavy loads?

Thanks,
