Dually tire size?

What is the biggest tire I can put on the back of my dually without using bolt on spacers? I know they make slip on spacers but I would only be able tuse maybe 1/4"

Thanks,

Your lugs were long enough with 1/2" spacer?

I want to go big. Has anyone had any problems with 2" spacers between the rear wheels? Are the safe to haul/pull heavy loads?

Thanks,

Thanks for all the feedback. I have been hearing alot of horror stories about hauling with spacers, but they were comming from people that don't use them. I will be putting new tires on my truck soon and was a little worried about saftey.

Some guys have gotten 285's to fit with a 1/4" spacer. but they don't recommend towing heavy.

I used 2 inch spacers on my Chevy Dually and towed heavy all the time. With the dodge I can run the same tire size as far as the 265 part with no issue. I run 265/70/17 Cooper stt with just a smidge of room left when loaded with my 30 ft corn pro loaded. I should get a 1/4 inch spacer next time around, but I am going back to Mastercraft Ct next tire purchase. I hate my STT's.
