How long are 19.5 and 22.5 tires lasting?

Stock tires are almost worn, and I am thinking of going to 19.5" or 22.5"; just wondering if anyone has gone through a set or has any idea how long tires of this size are lasting?
I want to get some "real world" numbers before I take the plunge. Truck is mostly highway drivin' with some towing.

Thanks in advance.

If we could keep the nails out of the tires they might last longer. But on our semi's the last any where from 50'000 to 100'000. steers and lift axles last the longest. but i have no idea how long 22.5 will last on a truck that weighs 10'000lbs less and doesn't regularly pull 45-65 tons.

I know of some guys with close to 30,000 miles on the 22.5s with no signs of wear. I personally have 15,000 miles on mine and they look brand new. I also don't have a problem with the ride or balance. The ride is a little firmer than stock, but it's really good for a 16ply tire. These tires are rated for 150,000 miles on a road tractor, so they will more than likely dry rot before you could wear them out.

Yes, the 22.5s are rated for 150,000 miles on a semi at full tire pressure. There are many different tread patterns available. Michelin XD2's, like Kris said, are an AT. So are Sumitomo 908s. You will want a traction tire instead of a steer tire in a 255/70.

The 19.5s will wear good too and maybe someone will chime in on a mileage quote, but you can't beat the 22.5s as far as wear mileage. I guess it just all depends on how much you want to spend. Price wise new, they are about the same though.
