What looks best on a Truck? 17", 18"

Okay, so I may end up ordering wheels sooner then I thought because there is a sale going on, $40 bucks off a wheel. But I am torn, The wheels are these::::

And they will be going on either 35x12.50 KM2's or procomp exteme A/T's. I am torn between 17x10 with a 5" BP or 18x10 with a 5" BP.

What would look best? And wouldn't the 17's ride better (more rubber betwen it and the road).

Let me know! Right now I am thinking 17's, but am not sure if they would look good.

Thanks for any input guys.

i like the look of a 35 on a 18, but the reason i'm sticking with 17's is just due to the cost difference in the tires. 35x18's are usually way more bank then the 17's.... but i think either route you'll be happy.

As far as ride is concerned I don't think you notice much difference in a 1 inch bigger rim. I think most of the complaints about ride are big changes, for example; 16" to a 20" or 17" to 20" or 22". Drastic changes like that.

By the way, what rims are those? and where are you finding the good deal? I might just wanna copycat you!!!

4-wheel parts, real good deal and I might just order mine today. Thing is I don't even got my truck here yet, its in California coming by month end but I don't want to miss out on this deal.

Reason I was worried about ride is because my dads truck has Truxus STS 35" tires with 17's (usually) and my granddad had 35x12.50 procomps on 18's, his tires ride a lot rougher it seems, unless it just the tire (no difference in truck because we have ran both set of the same truck, 17's sem to ride better?).

I think the tire makes the rim look good. I also like more tread than rim, that is why I stayed with 17's. To each his own. If you see a set on someone else's rig and you like the looks go for it. You'll be happy either way!

Yeah your right, I guess I'll be going with the 17's. I am ordering them right now. Looking at my dads setup I like it more than my granddads.
