paintin my 20"s
i have an extra set of 20s in my garage an i want to paint them black.....anything specific i need to do...im going to sand them down an use the wheel paiint....i just want to see if i am going to like the look befor i go out an spend tons of money on new wheels.... pics on thread #16

if they are aluminum you need to use an aluminum primer so it will etch the metal and bond better. usually you run into problems with the paint flaking. unless the aluminum has been chromed then scuffing will be just fine. i want to see some pics of the finished product. sounds like it's going to look good

i would maybe look into powdercoating. most shops around hear charge 25 bucks a wheel. and its not going to flake on you.
