mud tires

i am looking to put some bigger tires on my truck here soon. i was gonna run copper sst on it but from people said on here they dont hold up to the toque or the weight of our trucks. they were great on my 1/2 ton and loved them. so i dont thing i am gonna go with them. and i really dont want to spend the money on a set of toyos unless i really have to. i am looking for a set of mud tires. cause i do alot of offraod. mostly on rocks and a little mud. i was looking into a set of maxxis bighorns. or a set of hankook dynapro m/t. im dont know anyone that has run these on a diesel so if you ever ran them so something like it(other then toyos, bfgoodrich, oor goodyear) and im looking at 35/1250/17

yeah but what kinda miles you getting out of them. i just think they are way over priced for that they are i could buy 2 sets of tires for what you can get a set of pro comps for.

I am running the Toyo Opencountry M/T 37's and they are a great tire. I do rotate them every 3000-4000km, My neighbout has the same 37'S on his F150, i know its a lighter truck, but he has 40000+km on his and they still look mint.

Have you looked at the Hankook Dynapro? They make a 35x12.50x17 in a load E.

I've never ran the Hankooks, but I hear they wear pretty well. Have you thought about the Pro Comp Xtreme A/T? I know you want a mud but they are pretty agressive, and they have a 40K mile warranty. I haven't had a chance to run mine yet because I'm still waiting on my lift.

What about some Mickey Thompson Claws. Not sure about mileage or wear. But I know a guy with them that uses them on the rocks.
