cooper still a problem?
I was really looking at the cooper discoverer St and stc's . Then I started reading about all the problems cooper has had. Can someone tell me if these issues have been resolved or is there still a problem with cooper? |

The s/t's and stc's are good tires. My brother always ran them on his 99 cummins until he bought his new cummins but he will probably run them again once the tires on it wear out. My dad is gonna put the s/t's on his cummins too. I work at a shop and we sell cooper tires. I haven't had any complaints about the tires you mentioned and they wear good. Do not buy the discoverer stt's. They look sweet but they are too soft and you wont get much life out of them. Hope this helps.

i have the stt's and love em, 22000 miles and over 80% tread--I rotate every 5k when i change the oil, that is the key. b4 these i had mastercraft courser c/t's which are the same as discoverer s/t's--46k on those and they still had life, but i got a flat and thought it was a good time for new rubber. i run the cooper lifeliners on my subaru outback and never had a problem.
