toyo vs nitto! Which is better?
Ok so im looking for a set of chrome 20" wheels for my truck come this spring. I am goin with 35s. My question is which tire does everyone like better, which one last longer, which is quieter? Options- Toyo Open Country A/T or Nitto Terra grapplers? And does anyone have the nitto dune grapplers? Do you like them? How do they last on street? Truck wont be offroad but don't want a streety lookin tire or a really aggresive tire. Just a good looking all terrain that will last. The 20s and 35s will just be on from middle march till mid november and my H2s thru winter.

both are basically the same tire, tread patterns are very similar. They are even built in the same factory.

stay away. stay wayyy away. the are more or less the same tire. both only last about 17-25k miles, both just release tread at insane rates, people that have them like them, but dont like the wear. i tihnk the toyos sport a 45k warranty so your better off going that route. just dont give them any reason to suspect abuse

i deal with tires all day and what i've found that works the best is the BFGOODRICH all terrain. On my 315 I got right at 43,000 but you have to keep them rotated and balanced about every 3 to 5 thousand miles

I've had the Nitto's and now have the Toyo, both AT's. The Toyo's are more agressive looking to me and also wear better. The Nitto's were softer. The Nitto's were used on my 04 dodge hemi with 4" lift. The Toyo's are being used on my 06 mega cab diesel with 4.5" lift and don't really show any wear after 8K miles. The Nitto's were about half wore out by about 15K. My $.02.
