Tire Opinion for General AT2
My 05 Dually needs tires this spring...just planning ahead. 90% of this trucks use is highway driving to & from race events carrying a camper & towing my 26' enclosed trailer. Occasionally I use the truck & camper for weekend fishing trips so I need a tire that can handle a little off roading too (& damn those pits can be muddy at the end of rain out). I also want a tire that is decent in the snow (I do live in Alberta...truck is 4x4 ofcourse) & the camper comes off in October. Note that the General AT2 is a studable tire & is severe snow rated. I am considering the General AT2 tire in the stock size of 235 80 17. If you have DIRECT experience with this tire please share your experience. I know you mean well but please refrain from suggesting alternatives....I am only looking for feedback on this specific tire. thanks in advance.

i've put them on several land rovers at work and htey are fantastic. one of the off road mags did a review of them a while back and thought they were easily as good as the bfg's. you could google them and probably find that review online.
