Will blocking just the EGR prevent the p2262 code?
Can I just block off both sides of the EGR and leave the dpf intact? will this prevent that lovely little p2262 code from coming on. I have hade it come on 7 times now in the last 1500 miles. No turbo cleaning or turbo replacement truck still runs fine except for the check engine light coming on and off.

2007.5 2500 SLT quad cab 6.7 liter totally stock white 3.73 rear differential ratio. 2 wheel drive. Plan on a DPF and EGR delete when warranty ends. |

No you have to have the EGR intact for the regen to work properly!

Everytime mine comes on I just keep driving at it goes back off. You just have go for a highway drive and run her pretty hard, and it will blow the soot out of the turbo and the light goes back off.
