Anyone have any fuel mileage improvements on their 6.7?

Has anyone noticed any fuel mileage differences since their truck was brand new?

Mine is too new to decide yet... I only have 1400 miles on it. I am getting 12.5 unloaded steady. Haven't pulled anything over 10k yet. I am waiting until early october before I truly break it in.

I am interested in this as well.

yes but it doesn't really get better until you get between 14-18k miles. Mine is still improving.

yep my first 16k miles where all city driving and I would avg between 12.5 and 13.3. Then sometimes I would get a tank that I babied it really well to go 15.2, but then I would have a tank do 10.7mpg. The edge and mp-8 really helped my truck be more consistent. Now I get 15+ in the city and 17+ on the highway. Not great but without deletes I think it is pretty good.

Fuel Mileage 6.7

I primarey use the truck for pulling, I have several trailers but primarily pull a 16' 3-horse slant gooseneck. I have approx. 38K miles I average around 10 pulling and 14 to 15
empty. I am not very happy with the mileage since my older 5.9 was in the 19 to 20 range empty.
I am looking for ways to improve the mileage on this truck with or without voiding the warranty, any good ideas???
Like I said my older 5.9's did alot better on fuel mileage, this is the 6th cummins that I have owned and the most dissatisfied.

Currently: 07 6.7 Auto, 4WD Big Horn Quad, Long Bed

No add ons to ours and we get 18mpg at 74mph and 20mpg at 62mph. We have 8k on the all stock 6.7 These numbers are hand calculated unloaded and all highway.

i was getting 11-13 highway running 75 at 400 miles. my egr stopped working, went to 14-16 highway. My dpf got lost and i am now getting 18-19 highway running 75. towing right under 10K i get around 13-14 now. I only have 8K miles on her right now. i assume the mp8 and edge will get her over 20. then when she is broke in. who knows. I am interested in this also, to hear from someone who is still stock with 30-40K miles.

ERG and DPF

I understand unplugging the ERG and it helped a little, but what is the DPF and where's it located? Thanks
