Dyno Dissapointment San Antonio

I broke my intake plenum gasket on the dyno day we had on aug 16th. Fixed my truck the next wednesday and Havnt found a place that was open for me to redeem my #'s. I called every shop in SA and the only place i could get to was Henderson Performance in New Braunsfels. I just came back from there and I sadly I diddn't get my 600+. At Lethal I made 439hp and that was with 15lbs boost and dropping rapidly. Now i'm in the mid 50 range and only got an extra 100hp out of the 35lbs boost difference. I made 503hp and 919tq with no electronics and my best run with the adrenaline on 6 was 541hp and 949tq.

After the first 3 pulls we determined the dyno was reading clean and the culprit now is the truck itself. I was expecting a little over 600 judging off Cliff & Weazels trucks making that range with VERY similar setups. The only MAJOR factor i'm missing is theirs is a 5spd and i'm an auto.

The Operator told me that auto's can loose around 21-25% power through the trans and manuals are more like 15-17%. Using those #'s we Projected an estimated 614hp at the wheels if it were a 5spd and 721 at the motor but these numbers have NOT been proved and until i do my conversion i guess i'm sitting at 541hp. Heres a Video...

Fueling up to 3300 not a bit over and 50psi...(still stock valve springs)

YouTube - Zach's MonsterVP Dyno

Heres the Idle and some smoke lingerin around...

Also this was a dynojet 248x

and just lookin over my #'s I made 503 no electronics....with the Adrenaline on i only gained 38hp....I'm going to check the wire tap and See if I can go back to Lethal Performance and use their dyno. Thats the one I broke my truck on and see if I dont make more #'s there. The ADR HAS to be giving me more than 38hp. Heck a superchip programmer woulda given me more than that.

If you can not get back on a Lethal call up A.R.T. in buda. We took the mega-cab there the week after San Antonio. I think they charge $125 an hour on the dyno.

Thats a little more than i was wantin to pay and kinda further away...But if all els fails i'll do that. I'm checking for mishaps with the ARD. No way I only gained 38hp from the ADR. I'm also doin things with injectors....well see in a few weeks.

to sum it up a bit......

I was on my way to pick up a quad i bought dirt cheap and all he!! broke loose.......I was driving down 190W in the fast lane and my truck jerked to the left.... HARD!!! I went off the interstate fishtailed then got back on the highway.. thought someone hit my a$$! I look around and no one near me. So I said man that was a wind gust from he!! So I drive 300 yards and it does it again. Truck pulls hard to the left.... then it all went downhill from there.... my steering felt like death wobble and my truck starting screechin and bangin... I turned off the next exit... doin 40 MPH!! and jumped out the truck and the top of my driverside wheel was tucked an inch inside my fender flare!!!!!!!!!! My tires stick out about 4 inches normally! I blew my wheel bearing to pieces!!! I mean literally... It looked like a grenade went off in my hub. So I gotta do a hub assembly now... 300 BUCKS!!! What a day Zach!!!!
