STT's look almost just like the Toyo's and they hold up way better

I'm a huge fan of BFG mt's. I've had several sets. They never cease to amaze me offroad and have pretty decent road manners.

I am a fan of the Toyo M/T's, and they are quiet on the road. Never ran STT's, but have heard good things about them. Cant go wrong either way.

I spent quite a bit of time researching this when I wanted to do the same thing. Although I no longer have the mud tires on the truck, I ran Interco Swamper SSR's (35 x 10.5 x 17) on stock rims on my '07 dually. The SSR's are unique in that they have an aggressive mud tread, are 35" tall, have an E load rating, and do not require spacers.

Here's a few pictures from a while ago:

FYI, just realize that running these tires (which, BTW I was very happy with) will cost you ~ 2mpg vs. stock-size highway tread tires. Hope this helps
