if you can weld there is a lot of work in TX right now. you can always go in as a helper for $20.00 plus. might have to travel though.

you are in tx there is alot of farmers harvesting milo-grains and coming soon will be cotton so if you can drive a tractor you can get a check

you can always get a job rough neckin' in east texas on a drilling or work over rig.
they're always hiring worms. not sure of your physical well being or willingness to do that sort of work, but just an idea.

If you don't mind mechanic work heavy machinery mechanics are always needed too. They are always building roads and diggin holes breakin stuff.
