Undercover cop in SRT-10?????

So I'm headed back to work in Texas earlier today, and a mile or so after I cross over the La/Tx line there is a silver srt-10 parked on the shoulder. I give it a glance and dont pay much mind as i continue on I-10. Not 2 minutes later I see him come flying up behind me and the traffic I was flowing with. He gets right on my butt looking to pass, so I change lanes and start boosting to show I'm packing, not lookin for a race, just respect for diesel power. Well he doesnt change lanes and gets on my butt again, so again I boost up and take it to about 95mph, no sooner than i hit 95 he flies up on me and puts lights on and hits a quick siren!!!! I'm like seriously WTF?! This guy was just racing with me now he's gonna pull me over?! So in disbelief, waiting for a place to get pulled over as there was no shoulder whatsoever, I get into the right lane. As I change lanes he flies by me and then turns off the lights, and exits off the interstate. The truck had no public license plate, and no CB antenna. Here are the possibilities I think:
1.) A guy installed red and blue strobe lights on his truck and thought he would have fun messin with me.
2.)An off duty cop wanted to mess with me or send me a message tellin me to slow down.
3.)It was an undercover cop who wanted me to slow down but didnt feel like pulling me over and gave me a break
So what do ya'll think?

If he was on the shoulder my guess would be 2 or 3. Very odd though!

hmmm could have been a cop. ive seen them in srt8 chargers with no markings or anything, and they nail people all day

Ive seen the same truck in Orange, had a 18 wheeler pulled over, its a state trooper and yes its a srt-10. It has strobe lights in the back glass. I had to look twice myself.

could've been a DARE program impound/siezure that they put on the road.

J/k, if he ran traffic on you, it amazes me that he pull you over.

Idk, could have been a seizure vehicle, but that's unusual. See I have told my wife if you, are getting pulled over and they are not in a squad slow down put the hazards on, and call 911 and tell them to send a marked squad out.

Because in NTX you here on the news all the time of fake cops pulling people over and raping them or stealing their stuff.

If I was you I would call the county you were in and talk with the sheriff's office and find out if any of the municipalities in their county have a truck like that.

And then tell them what happened, depending on what they say.

I have had that happen to me here in nueces county...same deal but it was an unmarked F-150. Guy was riding my bumper and i was already moving at a good clip so i hammer down and next thing i know whoop whoop lights in the rear view mirror start moving to the right lane and he just passes me up and then turns his lights off
