valve cover painted

did a quick paint job on the valve cover earlier today.

didnt come out too bad, will need to do some touch up.

naked 6 !

thanks.

i used rustoleum rattle can gloss enamel for the blue and red coats.

base coat was an automotive grey primer.

really not hard at all. ill let you guys know how the paint holds up.

btw, anyone know what that covered filter is underneath the valve cover ?

Did you tape over the info labels before paint or apply new ones? If so where did you get them? Thanks

calebs, a couple of months a go i came across OEM touch-up spray paint on a website (cant remember the site). you may be able to match that paint to the valve cover.

i taped over the info labels with painters tape ( the blue stuff ). didnt pull any lettering off, workerd really well.

Looks good, why did you paint it all nice and shiny, but leave the engine dirty?

Heres mine, the old man aint bad with an airbrush, and a rattle can...

cuz im lazy.

i have all this week off on vacation, so i planned on cleaning up the ride and doing some landscaping as well.

your valve cover is ridiculously sweet.
how long did it take you to get that finished ?
