Central TX guys...Feeler for December hill country cruise

As some of yall know I will be coming home from Iraq at the end of next month. A couple guys and myself have been talking about doing some sort of hill country cruise as a meet for awhile so I thought it would be a cool welcome home thing for me. This is some of the nicest country in Texas especially in the fall/winter time. December 12th Band of Heathens and Walt Wilkins & the Mystiqueros, 2 great bands from Austin, will be playing at Luckenbach Dancehall in Fredericksburg. I figure we could meet up at Cabela's sometime in the afternoon, perhaps 4ish, and convoy/cruise out to Luckenbach for some dinner and a couple beers and whoever is interested in the concert can stick around and head to Fredericksburg for the show. We just need to keep it below 75ish so the slow guy in the old truck with low gears can keep up. Or better yet, maybe I'll just lead the way.

Anyway, let me know who all would be interested in doing something like this.

Can we maybe leave closer to noon? We'd be interested in the Luckenbach part but probably wouldn't go up to Fredericksburg. If we leave earlier, there are a couple of winery's on the way to Luckenbach that the "boss" likes to stop at and sample their wine. Maybe other people would like to stop there on the way too.

Yeah Jay that's cool. I wouldn't mind doing a little exploring myself.
