turn on your turn signals and hold a finger ontop of the relay in your fuse box. make sure its your turn one and not the hazards. you should feel little clicking. if not its your relay again. check your fuse under the hood? could be the switch but VERY unlikely.

If a piece has broken inside the switch it is pretty likely that the turn signals wouldn't work. The hazard switch supplies power to the relay, so if your hazards work then your relay works fine. The switch will supply power to left or right depending on how it is moved.

no. The hazards and turn signals use the same flasher relay, so if either of them work (hazards or turn) then the relay is fine. If the turn signals aren't working then the signal from the switch isn't getting to the flasher relay to tell it to do it's thing.

you said it was fixed... but i had a similar problem.. it was the wire harness on the back of the spedo cluster, it wad wiggled loose and the blinker woud work the right way when the wanted to otherwise the left would make the right work and opposite for other side...

I would say very similar problem. The turn signal and high beam switch is all integrated into one.

left rear turn signal
I have a similar issue. Yesterday, my left rear turn signal stopped working. but the front flashes. The right side and all other lights are fine except for the left rear turn and left hazzard. I replaced all bulbs on the left rear side and the front one. Checked all fuses any ideas. thanks

I'll bump. 06 2500 mega cab that when I put the lever left or right, usually left turn does nothing and right works fine. Sometimes left turns on the right. If I put pressure forward as I turn left, it will work fine usually. So I'm guessing the problem is in the steering column shift lever component or something. Any advise?
