air conditioner problems

occasionally I will have my air on and the air is barely coming out of the vent even when turned on high. however I can hear the fan blowing strong in the dash. sounds like maybe the vent doors aren't opening and closing right. air isn't coming out any vent anywhere. any help would be nice

i'm not sure, but i think some would cut the air all but off, and some would dump heat and cool.

I cant remember if dodge trucks have a cabin air filter?? If it does, that would be a good place to start.

check to see if there is a difference when you switch from recirc to fresh air. If there isn't you probably have a busted recirc door. just my .02

I found that if you shut down the system, cycle from hot to cold or vice versa, then cycle the blend through all the positions, you relearn the body controll modual.

my 06 had same issue with the door 2x where it would rattle or flap on high. Both those times were under warranty. But this past Thursday my a/c compressor went out. And I'm past warranty so it was $980! Ouch...

Mine blows warm air every now and then when I am hard on the throttle, but gets cold again after a few seconds. Always wondered what caused that. Anyways, good luck to you with the A/C.
