No.... how'bout DODGE fix the real problem instead of putting a BANDAID on it just to cover their butt in a lawsuit. They don't want to get sued and they know they have a problem; SO THEIR FIX IS TO WORRY THEIR VALUED CUSTOMERS TO DEATH WHEN THEY ARE TRYING TO LINE UP THEIR TRAILER!!!!!!! WHICH ANYONE WHO OWNS A CUMMINS WILL PROBABLY DO QUITE A BIT. HEY IT SOUNDS GOOD IF YOUR THE CEO; PROGRAM CHANGES DON'T COST A THING!I'm sure the moron who thought that one up got a great bonus!!!!

and no, I hang out the window.....after I scare everyone at the boat ramp to death. Dodge won't fix the problem and I look like the moron.

same thing happened to me when I had my 04.5, took it in for oil change, they told me there was a recall and explained everything, so I told them not to do it, well they did it anyway. when I told them to undo it they said it cant be undone. Man I could not stand that gamn horn going off. just have to deal with it, or unplug the horn? maybe?

This is somewhat untrue and misleading.

DC Computers cannot "reverse flash" any vehicle. No flash, no program, no version. You can only get the "latest and greatest".

If the flash you had works great, and it gets reflashed, no amount of lawyers or cash will get you your old flash back. It is not possible through O.E. channels.

Does the horn still beep if the seat belt is on? I read somewhere that having the belt fastened would prevent the horn from blasting. Guess I will have to try it tomorrow.

My truck did this. Drove me crazy. I did the seat belt trick described on here and it stopped it. With door closed and ign. off buckle seat belt, turn ign. on wait for belt light to go out and buckle/unbuckle 10-15 times quickly, turn ign off and then turn it back on fixed mine maybe I got lucky. Naaaaah cant be that Not very lucky

the last truck i worked on with this concern, i disconnected the driver's seat belt latch, built a jumper, problem solved. as long as the seat belt light was out, no nasty noise. just my .02 - good luck

this seems counter productive? A fix like this causing owners to disable the seat belt warning? By the way chevy doesn't have this? How did they get away without it?

Why not install a relay that disables the horn when the door is open or it's in reverse or the seatbelt is undone or all of the above?
