The tsb has not been released yet.......
What I heard the tools are just plugs to keep the cleaning solution in place to do it's work

I brought my truck in 4 times for a check engine light. Every instance the light appeared, i was accelerating onto the Interstate while the turbo is 'screaming'. It was making a noise louder and different than the overflow chatter. The dealer said that it is building up too much boost pressure. Their solution to the problem is for me to always ride with the Jake Brake on and to NOT let the engine idle for longer than 15 minutes at a time. I was told that riding with the Jake Brake on will help reduce the soot build up in the turbo. Does this make sense to anyone?

The idea of using the e brake is to make the sliding nozzle work more.It has a sraper on it so when it slides it tends to stay a lil cleaner and the backpressure will keep things blown clean

All the variable geometry turbos will stick when they get a build up of soot. Ford has been having this problem from years. The E brake, (it is not a jake brake), is actually the computer telling the nozzle in the turbo to close, which restricts the flow of exhaust gasses. When it gets stuck from all the soot, it either overspools the turbo, or lags heavily during acceleration. Using the e brake all the time will help save your brakes and keep the soot from sticking the nozzle.

TSB has been released (17 pages long), schedule with your dealer so he can order all the parts. I ordered 30 cans of cleaner and 10 plugs. Hope this helps.
