TSB for a cracked windshield?

Am I reading this right? Is there a defect with the windshield or something? Mine was hit by a rock and cracked...can I take it to the dealer and get it replaced or something?

tsb is for dealer to determine cause of crack. cracks caused by impacts are not warrantable.

Ok...didn't think so. But I had also saw another one about how some of the other glass was defective and thought hmmm...

Was worth a try if the glass was defective or something, ya know.
