First of all I was told there is no way to remove this. The dealer put this in my truck as a safety recall. I love it when the horn blows when I back up to my trailer with the door open. When I am in a horse camp ground and the f%&* horn is going off! It will go off if I get out of the truck to fast.

I just want to know how many of us have to complain, and to whom, to get these damn things taken off our trucks.

Anyone with a strict HOA have to back up early in the morning? Maybe if a couple HOAs went after Chrysler for "disturbances" we could get the things taken out.

mine is doing the same thing. first of all i know i was being a dumb@ss, but i got it stuck in the mud. whenever my buddies got me out my alarm would go off every time i put it in reverse. so i called a local shop and the guy said it was some kind of switch. he's gonna look at it today and then let me know what's up. so i'll pass on what i know whenever i get her back. damn electronics!

you need to find the old part number for the front control module, as long as it doesn't contain the update, the horns won't honk with door open.
