A/C Problem

Well for as long as my uncle had this truck (about 2 years, I bought it in november) the A/C has not worked. Before he died he said something about a mud dabber nest clogging something up. I would like to get it working as temps in TX can get to 110 degrees and rolling down the windows aren't enough. So what would be my first step to pinpoint this problem. If you need any information just ask me and i'll do my best to let you know. Just need some steps to go about finding/fixing the problem. Thanks a lot. It is the truck in my sig

A/C problem
