E-17 recall B.S
Hey all, I took my 05 2500 in to the dealership today to get my high idle enabled. When I got there I told the service manager to NOT perform the recall fix, also I told the mechanic to NOT do the recall and both said no problem. Well after they were done guess what?? They enabled the high idle alright along with the bull--it recall fix. After some heated dispute the service manager said that BY LAW they have to close out the recall. I informed them that had I been told that I would have left before my truck seen the shop. So just so you know beware. Thanks (I feel a little better now)
