Power train warrantee non-transferable?

I just got an e-mail from Chrysler Corp. This is what it said; Thank you for contacting the Chrysler Customer Assistance Center
regarding your 2006 Dodge Ram.

We would like to inform you that the basic warranty coverage goes along
with the vehicle. However the powertrain warranty is not transferable.

We suggest that you contact your local authorized dealer for updating
the warranty records.

That bites!!! So, eventhough I have been careful not to do anything to my truck (mods) to destroy the warrantee it's destroyed anyway???? Thats BS!

I might as well start getting the good stuff coming.

I was told the same thing over the phone from dodge. Maybe they found a loophole in the 06 warranty. As I recall 05 was the last year for 7/70 and 06 went back to the 3/36. I had an 05 jeep rubicon with 7/70 but the 06s I looked at only had 3/36. Maybe dodge found a new lawyer in 06.
