I have the same problem on my 07 5.9L and the offroad place told me that it was because the joint from the draglink to the tie rod end has play in it. I have only had the lift on for less than a month and mine doesnt do it after I hit a bump, it does it no matter how smooth the road is when I hit 70 mph.

The dealership tried to tell me it was because of the tires I was running, but I just had two new tires put on the rear to try and stop that. The dealership also said they would fix anything under warranty that was a factory piece and if the problem was not due to the lift being put on.

Yep I Had It And Still Has It Goin On With My 1/2 Ton. Alot To Do With It Is The Trac Bar On The Front End, It Has A Ball Joint On The End That Bolts To The Frame, How Many Miles On The Truck? Another Thing To Checkis The Steering Box On The Front End Bolted To The Frame, It Might Have Some Play In It Or The Bearings Are Goin Out. Somethin Else To Check Is The Ball Joints On The Knuckle, Or The Tie Rod Ends. If You Can Move Them Easily With Or Without Your Hands You Need To Replace Them.

The off road place told me that the joint from the draglink to the tie rod end had too much play in it, but then the dealership said that there wasn't any play in it.

I was also told there was play in my draglink from one place, but since then i have had my truck in to dodge for an 85pt inspect and it was just in for the wobble issue and both times they never mentioned it??
One BIG thing is.. ive had this wobble since the day i put on my dual steering stablizers.. I never checked them when they were outta the box to see if they were good (cuz they were brand new outta the box!) BUT, about an hour ago i figured id undo one of the bolts on each stabilizer and check them.. turns out that when i push in the shock and let go it will spring back about 3 inches.. This happens on both of them.. Hard to push in, then spring back out. To me it sounds like they are screwed?? I find it hard to beleive that both were screwed outta the box.. Help me out here guys, what do u think. They screwed?
Sorry for the long post

It almost sounds like you have gas shocks and not stablizers. True stablizers are hydraulic with no gas pressure and stay where you put them.

they are actually not gas, they are hydraulic.. I had a long chat with the BDS suspension rep. and we came to the conclusion that my steeriing stab's are both screwed. I went to a local shop and we also found 2 bad ball joints, bad tie rod end, as well as the drag ling to the pitman arm is TOAST.. so with that in mind i went back to dodge and had at it with them so now my truck is in for all new ball joints, trac bar, tie rod ends.. pretty much whole new front end. ON WARRANTY! im pretty pumped. we'll see how this all turns out.

They warrantied front suspension/steering even with a lift?? Your a lucky guy. hope it solves the death wobble. the only thing worse than crapping your pants the first time you get the DW is not being scared at all because youve dealt with it so much on so many different vehicles

yea im pretty lucky with the warranty. When i bought my truck i asked the dealership what i could all do to it. they told me that i just had to be reasonable and they usually wouldnt give me to much greif. They said that the only thing that would be a problem is that if they had to take part of my lift off to get to something they were fixing on warranty, then they would charge me however long it took them to remove the lift. They also signed a "concent" form on allowing me to put on spacers and blocks. Thats pretty much why i only went with 3" instead of 6"
I just hope they stick to it!

so the wobble is fixed now. Just took upper and lower ball joints, 2 tie rod ends, a trac bar, and 2 new steering stabilizers. Thank god it was all on warranty, and that it is now fixed :

I kind of had the same thing going on with my truck from 60-65mph. I took it back to the tire shop that did the lift and tires for me for the 4th time. This time they told me that I had 2 bent wheels in the rear. I had them rotate my tires, tighten everything up on the lift, and re-balance (road force) on the two rears. I already had the front tires (road force) balanced. This time everything is fine I don't have the issue anymore. I think something was loose in the suspension.
