Hello and thank you all for being very helpfull and friendly. I have not got much experience with diesels since I was a Tech for Mercedes and that has been years ago. I do however deal with them everyday with my job as a Service Manager at one of the largest Dodge Jeep Chrysler dealerships in the Dallas - Fort Worth Metroplex.

What I intend this section to be is another way to help you guys in any way I can.

I will post what bullitens and recalls that are out there. I will answer any questions you may have to the best of my knowledge and if I dont have the answers I will do my best in finding out the answers for you.

I will start posting what I find on the newer trucks and as I run across the older stuff will post that stuff also.

I will say one thing regarding bulletins:
Remember that just because there is a bulletin, it does not meen that that your truck needs this repair done to your truck. Most all bulletins are not only year and engine specific but also VIN specific. They may also be regional due to enviroment specific also.

A bulletin does not always correct an issue you are having even though the bulletin description is the same of simillar to your issues. I will help you all with that. If you have any questions I welcome you to ask and talk about it. That is what this section is all about.

Again thank you for welcoming me to the site and I hope I can help you guys as much as you guys have helped me.

JOSH

Josh dont get frustrated if not many responses to these threads, having the info here will be a hugh assett,

One piece of advice for any member wanting your dealer to preform a TSB would be to print it off the puter and take it wih you, seams not all dealers are aware of all the TSB's so if you have the specific info in hand they can get right to it.

Cheers, Kevin

Thats true. The techs. are pretty good at remembering the common ones and the ones most used, and in our case there are some areas that may not have a lot of diesels for the techs to work on. Also these bulletins dont usually get read by the Service advisors.

On a lot of these recalls and bulletins that I will be added, you might see them before any of the dealers have even performed one because all recalls and bulletins are emailed to me from Chrysler the day of thier publishing.
