traction blocks...whose seen them?

wow..this got out of hand...i do agree with devil dog though...when you tube slides into another...should that bolt come loose it has defeted the whole point of getting traction bars...

a solid piece...like the lazersmiths are what I was looking for..i didnt mean for this to get so far out of hand

You have no way of knowing how these work other then speculation and assumption. You have not seen them in person, owned them, installed them, or ran against them in any event. Heck you can’t even figure how they really get installed or the geometry they use. But you feel qualified to judge them? That is pretty arrogant of you.

Before you listen to a guy that can’t even see that his rear u bolts can not be torqued correctly because of his unsafe mod, you should check with someone that owns them to see if they like them. Do your research and find out why the people that have them like them or not.

2 walls of tube is weaker then 1 wall how?

When I called them they said they build them with or without the adjustable length bars. But how the center works is stronger then the bolt at the axle holding them to the truck.

1010, You must not be able to read, I didn't say that they wouldn't work, I just said I didn't like the setup.

You assume that I know nothing about building suspensions. I have built many style suspensions, consisting of leaf sprung, coil sprung 4 links, and coil sprung independants. All of which were on race cars and off road race rigs. I Do know that you are just as big of an ASSumer as anybody. If you don't like what people are telling you, feel free to leave and not reply.

So, are you on one up offroads payroll? Cause for not having them you sure like to promote them. Or is that your Ford in those videos. Must be nice to have the $ to on all the showy crap hanging off that truck.

We were all just showing what we use, and what we use that works. And that is easy to build. Most off us are on a budget, so those bars are well out of mosts price range. No need to criticize us for what we do to save some cash.

I'm tired of argueing with someone that won't listen.

even if that is so which im not saying it is..as I know little regarding traction bars, considering he has made many pulls and definately put them through the stress that required they be there

the fact they held up should be convincing enough that it isnt as bad of a design as you claim it is
