Hey Ban89, Hows the carli kits? I want to fit 35's but I dont mind the harsh ride quality of a 3/4 ton truck. I am looking into a 4" lift but the carli starter kit might be the way to go. I dont really want to get rid of the factory overload spring either I dont do to much offroading in NC and I have a 84 6.2L suburban for serious offroading in AZ. I dont need a suspension kit that soaks up the bumps either because we tend to get in those situations that call for a slow and steady foot on the brake and the gas. What are your thoughts on the 4" superlift rockrunner kit? Thanks man this is the only part I cant make up my mind on!

If you dont mind the current street ride quality of your truck, you dont really offroad and you dont want to get rid of your lower overload leafs and replace them with mini packs then the Carli starter kit really wont benefit you. The starter kit is geared towards those that want improved street ride and offroad ability w/o sacraficing load carrying capacity.

If you're fine with the ride I would look at getting the Carli leveling kit with just the front springs and end links then use the extra money for an adjustable trac bar and 5100s for the rear. The rear will ride a little better than it does now but if it doesnt bother you why spend the extra money on the mini pacs?

Or dare I say...you might also want to look into Kore springs. they are less expensive than carli but dont offer nearly the ride quality Carli's do but are still progressive rate and are better quality than Superlift.

KORE VARIABLE RATE coils (Cummins 03-09)

I havent had personal experinece with the 4'' rock runner kits but from the reviews I've seen, the looks of their parts and the 6'' systems I've experienced it seems to be a good lift kit. With some Bilstein 5100s you should get a pretty good ride at the height you're looking for. There are a few guys that didnt like the street ride of the 6'' SL and ended up ditching it and going the carli route. I'm sure they can share their experience.
