Just give Jesse at Carli a call.

The 2.0 kit sounds about right for you. Carli front coils with custom valved 7100 shocks. You will also get 5 leaf pacs for the rear that will create a more progressive rate and keep load rating the same as stock.

Carli control arms are not manditory with the kit but are a great addition. The stock mounts are fine. I know tons of guys that beat the living crap out of their trucks running Carli arms and have never had a problem. The stock arms are pretty weak and can bend if you do any hard offroading or see a lot of rocks.

Carli Suspension - Dodge Ram Performance 2.0 Suspension System

I ran this kit prior to the 2.65 kit. It was a huge improvment over stock on the street and gave very good all around offroad performance. I could tow my 10k+ lbs no problem with this kit.

Yup,

The 2.0 kit is an awesome choice. And the best part about all of the Carli systems is that you can upgrade them over time. Add control arms, full leafs,or air bags over time.

As far as our trucks being work trucks. If Dodge only made these trucks for the guys that used them solely for hardcore work, they would have been discontinued years ago.

And you might be surprised how many snowplows guys are running Carli front coils or Starter Kits.

It's a truck for god's sake.

I think it's people who want a "CAR" like ride" are the reason trucks are not as tough or utilitarian as they use to be.

IF you want your truck to ride better put some weight in it.

heck, stock they ride like a boulevard cruiser.
you drive on 08' he drives a 96 big difference in ride quality

This is true. He can build you a coil as soft as you want with the required lift you want. Heck, if you wanted NO lift and a smooth ride, Thuren would build you the coil.

Ban89 knows alot about the Carli 2.0 system and is a very knowledgeable guy. He speaks through experience, having done what so many of us do- start small, get hooked, then get crazy with the upgrades!

Why because you can't have your cake & eat it too.

This mentality is why it's becoming harder and harder to find a work truck.
These are not grocery getter's or vehicles to just cruise the boulevard on Sat night.

Now, if you wish to use then as work trucks you need to add airbags , timbrens, add-a-leaf.
You can barely hang a plow off of the front any more because of the people who just want a truck to drive around in.

soft ride = less load capability.
You are living in the stone age my friend.
We can have our cake and eat it too now.

I have the Carli performance 2.0 kit with full leaves on the rear.It is a very nice street ride way better in the dirt than the stiff Kore I pulled off and can still carry a load

hey guys i have been looking and did a search for leveling kits and i see the kore kit is like $389 and i did not see any prices on the carli. I just want a leveling kit that is not just a block and get a little smother ride.

i want to go with the carli because I hear great things about them but the price might change my mind(still dont know where to price yet) I like to see they come with sway bar end links that wont wrought out.

I bought my truck as a hobby so i don't tow at all.

Here's a link to where you can buy the Carli starter kit- Carli Suspension Starter System

I have it on my truck and love it. At first it was stiffer than stock but once the shocks started breaking in it is now very nice. I have no interest in lifting this truck, but I did want it level. My next purchases will be the long travel airbags, the full deavers, trackbar and control arms from carli. Right now the ride is pretty damn good compared to stock but I really do think I can get it a little more comfortable with more of their parts.

I want empty comfort but at the same time I gotta be able to haul 14k lbs without sag (throws the headlights off) and safely.

Here is pricing and info on all their current kits. The leveling kit is on page 5.
