Shoot fellas, I would never roll static drop ever again after switching to air. This was on my s dime, but that static drop rode like crap. Nothing like dropping it down to the frame rails, the looks you get are priceless!!

Ok... here's my truck. Stock ride height, but on 24's.

Now here's my left front rim after smacking a curb Friday night...lol

That looks sick.

How fast were you going when you hit the curb

Sideways at about 65... I either bent my rear left rim or bent my axle too..

I haven't checked to see which one it is, but I know I slid my axle to the right slightly. It is a little to that side on the U bolts.

Damnations!!!!!! Hope you didn't mess anything else up.

Alright guys I got a question. I have drop shackles on the rear of my truck, but I want it a little lower. Which leaf spring do I need to pull out of rear?

I'd look in to pulling hte over load spring, its on the bottom of the pack real thick, however I had isses and could not pull mine because of the alignment pins it had to stay in or else the spring pack would shift on the axle perch.

Kind of a crappy picture, but here's the new wheels... just shipped out today with Continental 315/35/24's on them:

Here's a photo from the web, but this version doesn't have the raised center cap to allow for the 8 lug axles and it's smaller, maybe a 20 or something because the spokes are a lot shorter:

And here is one mounted on a black car I found on Google:

I like the smooth lip and all of the allen heads, kinda makes them have a more race inspired three piece look....

Yea, I was looking at that one. So can it be pulled out or not? Could you not use a bolt or something as an alignment pin? I plan on doing this this weekend. Any info is appreciated. Thanks

The truck actually rides much better than the factory setup...It tracks down the road like it should. I hooked up my 20' trailer with 8,500lbs and the rear didn't flex at all.
If somebody can send me there e-mail address I can send more pictures to post. i always seem to have trouble adding pictures through this site. Thanks
Did you do a c-notch in the rear ? If not, how close are you to the bump stops ?

will 1500 coil springs work and do they need to come off a 4x4 or 2x4?

well on mine the center pin was only drilled through the thick short over load spring, and so you COULD NOT transfer it to the regular spring pack. If you pulled them off the truck and drilled them out I dont see what not but that hardened steel of the springs makes me nervous about drilling
