OUO makes the u-bolts themselves and offer them in both 5/8" and 3/4" for more strength/clamping force.

Go look at the videos they have it landing .You just have to pipe up when you know nothing about these lifts. that truck has plenty of travel and the tires clear all fenders so there is no carnage even when you bottom out the suspension. What do you think will happen when it lands, other than it soaking it up.

Oh Im sure it landed, its soft enough dirt it wont hurt anything...Hard packed with out a trussed front axle, it wont last long no matter how much usable travel they have...

Is there a stock engine crossmember that goes under the oil pan or is that gone also?

Yeah I was thinking the same thing. with the large negative offset and low back space that he has to be running with those wheels there has to be a lot of added stress on that stock front axle, ball joints and other front end components. They can all be reinforced to survive.

Are you guys running bump stops or limit straps to help protect those shocks/components?

Finally some intelligent observations .there is extra bracing under the front of the motor to tie the shock towers together .And Ban89 they use bump stops on all applications but the limiting straps are only used on the trucks that are going to be used alot offroad. Most people don't hammer offroad enough to hammer out the shocks .I think the mall queen thing has been pointed out enough in this thread.I think the front axle is a dana 60 that is a little better than the stock one with better components available .

ya ouo uses a dana 60 on the dodge lifts, the stock dodge axle has weaker axle tubes that are prone to bending.also u get the added feature of lockout hubs on the ford dana 60
