The Starter System, 2.0 & ***2.5 System use clevisis or stem top w/ factory towers. They are for mild off road w/ great street ride. Also the 2.5 system comes w/ Carli's aftermarket towers (the stem top I noted above is for guys who have the Starter or 2.0 system that want to upgrade to the King's w/o spending money on new towers). All other systems (2.65 & 3.0) come w/ Carli's towers. These systems are for off road speeds & of course great on road ride/handling. Carli does alot of R&D in every possible driving environment before they release to the public (knowing such things like stock towers will not hold up to abuse to off road speed type terrian along w/ other flaws of stock components). That's why when a customer is unsure what system to get. Carli will point them in the right direction for thier truck use. Dodge Ram Suspension Systems and Components by Carli Suspension

Ohhh, the brace is mainly for the 3.0 shock that does a lot of twisting/movement hitting the big stuff at high speeds. Keeps it in line to get the full travel of the shock. Shock Tower Brace - Dodge Ram Suspension System Components

The "pin top" kits are for those that want a little better ride in the dirt, but mainly focus on street. The tower braces fit any of carli's kits that include towers. There are not diff towers for diff shocks, one set of towers.

got it guys thanks....whewe, so in short, carlis towers are modified, which was the question partially, but the O.U.O ones arent? or just arent crossbraced? and as for the towers not being different, how is that? not all companies ofer the same dimensions in eyelet or overall body dimension.

I don't know about OUO tower fabbing, but Carli's give just enough clearence for the turbo & battery boxes and pull 10"-11" of travel in the front w/ the Bilstien 2.65, King 2.5 & 3.0's they offer. Billet Shock Towers for Dodge Ram Suspension Systems

ok yah i see that. last one we built has the new fox's on it, PAIN IN MY . but the clearance issues were definately the turbo and intake for the crossover. the shocks themselves presented new issues, such as the ends have a different width than the kings or bilsteins or swayaways, meaning we got to change em! yay for difficult customers. still, looks like if im gonna recomend a bolt on kit this one is my new favorite. though it is not a coilover kit, nor is it truly a longtravel kit like the o.u.o. is. i guess my curiosity is why one off went all out and way high, where as a company like carli, with all of their engineering and product support, doesnt offer a true longtravel coilover kit. but i suppose id be shootin myself in the foot if i pushed em to make one huh?
