Dude honestly, is there any need for something that big? That truck just screams "I'm a tool" because of how high its lifted. There is no need for a daily driver to be that high. If its gonna get lifted that high, it deserves to be driven off road and not become a trailer queen. bigblue24v, cant you just be happy with the truck you have? Its a heck of a truck, 2 much lift for my tastes, but its a truck alot of people would die for. From what i remember in other posts, your 17? Enjoy what you have now and in a few years when you have some more life experience, get your dream truck. Long story short, no to the big lifted truck and settle for the heck of a truck you have now.

Its very unlikely that I do/can afford to go this route but in the event that i managed to there would be 5.13 gears in the back axle so it holds onto alot of the torque and saves the mileage.

the kit include transfer case drop brackets and crossmembers, and guarantees correct driveangles to prevent stress and vibration. the center part of the kit is the new crossmeber for the transfer case. I do believe they have taken every stop here to fix all the angles

i'm not trying to be mean just telling you my thoughts on the situation cause even as a pavement pounder and with proper driveline angles, tranny drops, transfer case drops, etc it still is burning up the expensive parts first, i was ignorant and did it anyway, I love the look of the lifted trucks, but i now know that it causes to many problems for a limited budget, and I bought an old POS 1970 ford with a 360 in it because i know i'm going to break the dodge again and i have to have something reliable to drive, and when an old beater is more reliable than a 2006 that's pretty sad, IMO take everything with a grain of salt, just cause they guarantee everything to match factory specs doesn't mean it does. Something my dad told me after all these recent failures with the dodge products is if it were meant to be lifted like that they would offer them that way from the factory and so far the only vehicles i've seen with factory lifts are Chevy Silverado's and they're modest 6" lifts with 35" tires and they will earn my business next go round because of this

I love my truck for what it is, but 4 doors are a must, and I have the oppurtunity to change vehicles at the moment. also, as I have said. my truck spends more then half its time off road, and it will either be lifted higher to accomodate that or it will be replaced with something that can.

that looks like an awesome kit by the way! sorry i kinda contradicted myself i'm just very biased both ways because I love lifted trucks but at the same time they are the reason why everything breaks so it's kinda a love hate relationship i have with lift kits right now if that makes any sense

Although its a cool truck its a complete waste of money. There is no reason to spend that kind of money 16" of lift to drive it around town. I think its gonna cost entirely too much money to keep that thing goin. When you buy new tires it sure wont be cheap. I just think you could do something a little more practical with your truck bigblue24v like twins and make it fast too and spend less money than buying something like that. But if thats what you wanna do go for it

Ohh i missed the part where you take it off road. I though it was a street driven truck. I can see why you want it lifted then if its always offroad but i think itd be better to have like a Carli or Kore kit on there than that one. I think a 6-8 lift is perfect if its a really well thought out kit like Carlis or Kores. And i understand why you want 4 doors. Those megacabs are sweet too.

around ehre every one of the big three offers a lifted truck from the dealer. dodge calls it the southern comfort package and it comes on 37s with a 6" lift, 20" wheels and custom paint. ford calls it the ALL terrain package, and chevy calls it the no fear package
