..but saw the truck again this evening (7/21/08).. again going south on 49 in Lake Wylie.. 'cept I was going the other direction (north) this time.
Daughter said the fella gestured a wave but I missed it as I was too busy pointing and yellin' for the wife to look in the right direction...
"There he is!!! See it !?! That's the truck I told you about !!! See !?!" 
..of course, she missed the whole thing.

Comin' home from work this morning, just meanderin' along southbound on 49 through Lake Wylie, SC (just sw. of Charlotte, NC) I heard a familiar sound roll up beside me.
Looked over and saw a dark red 2nd gen with dual turn-outs.. big.. mine are 5" and those made mine look like drinking straws.
Crossover toolbox, dark tinted windows.. VERY nice looking (and sounding :thumbsup ) truck.
Gave a nod, but couldn't see through the tint... gave an ear-to-ear grin too, but that was simply an involuntary reaction. 
As they pulled away I noticed the Indiana tags. Followed for a few miles 'til our paths seperated.
Figured that person just HAS to be a member here.
Seeing a fellow "overt smoker" just made my day and I wanted to say, "Thanks".  |
