Drag Racing Day?

Okay, my wife and I went to Greer dragway tonight, and my wife came upi with a great idea!! How about we all get together at a drag strip, and have a Cummins Forum Day!!

I myself would like to do it at Commerce, and invite the Georgia boys out to have fun with all of us. If anyone else has a better idea, PLEASE chime in! If you know of a better place to go, or whatever, let me know. Just in the brainstorming stages right now. We'll nail down a specific thing at a later date.

BTW, are those Metco Motorsports pulleys?

Unfortunately those are not metco idler pullies, but they will be soon. I need to call Aaron and get the hook up lol

I just looked at the events schedule on the Atlanta Dragway schedule, and the nearest date that I think will not interfere with some scedules is on June 6. I sent an e-mail to the folks there to make sure we can come and race since all of the Saturdays are locked for points racing. I just don't want all of us to show up, and they throw up the big red plag and say we can't race. I'll let you guys and gals know what they say when I gat an e-mail back. I asked for a list of safety equipment we will need also, so if helmets and etc. are required I'll let you know also. See if this date works for you, and let me know.

BTW, just so you guys know, the Geaorgia guys are saying that this thing will be a SC vs. Ga race. WE NEED TRITON on our side!!!!! We will hand those boys their hind ends then!

LOL... I'll do what I can but, I'm from NC so, I'll have to represent if there won't be anyone else from here.

IIRC, you can rent the track for the day for very little money. Like 5 or $600. With enough people it's possible to pitch in $20 from everyone and have the track to ourselves.

Although... the ricers could use a good whoopin

I'd like to see what that Stang will do too. I have a friend with one that thinks it's faster than anything on the road.

You have a blower but, I have a big turbo

I have traction when I leave the line... will you ?

Don't get me wrong... I'm not calling out a Cobra but, I'd like to see some side by side action with our trucks :-)
