GA Guy Stranded in Spartanburg
Hey all, My truck just up and died getting onto I-26 about 45 minutes ago, and I am trying to figure out my options. I tried to refire it but nothing. I have the p1693 code and I am unable to check the FP as my gauges is sitting on the bench in the garage next to my holley blue pump and big line kit(Sunday Project). So, I am thinking its the VP, but I am about to head back out there with some wrenches to pop the injector lines and a new fuel filter. I am trying to figure out my options with either towing it back to the Atlanta area where I am at if its the VP to have someone do it or if there is a place nearby spartanburg to do it so I can save on towing costs. So, if anyone has any ideas, please let me know. I will not be in front of a computer for the rest of the day, but I can be reached at 678.215.8523. Thanks everybody. -Greg

Well, got it home. My gf's stepdad drove up from ATL with a tow bar and we got it home. Sadly, it was in his powerstroke so I get to hear about it for the rest of my days. Oh well, at least its home....Now its on to trouble shooting. -Greg

If you were near the I26 and I85 interchange there was a Cummins dealer one exit west on I-26. Sorry to hear about your problem, I wish I was on line yesterday to help. Good luck getting it up and running.
