My Dad and I want to start making biodiesel. There is one web site out there that advertises 46cent/ gallon cost to make it and it is not made in the conventional biodiesel way. It is attractive because it doesn't cost much to purchase the additive they provide (diesel secret energy- I think is the name) and it doesn't take long to make a batch ( minutes they say vs. hours w/ regular biodiesel recipes.) Anyone out there have any experience w/ this?
I checked out that site a while ago. It looks to good to be true. You know what they say abou that.... I wouldn't try it out on my $40K truck. If I had an old VW diesel or something I might try it there first. Good luck and keep us posted.
careful guys, there is a forum out here somewhere bc i was gonna go this route and some guy bought the secret recipe and it was bogus, just watchin out for ya all but maybe im wrong, recipe may be bogus/to good to be true........
I tried to check that site out but all i found was something about a company in africa making diesel out of natural gas. Nothing on how to make biodiesel at home. I felt like fhrinsp06 avitar.. aarrgg!!!.. any suggestions?
If you want to make regular BioDiesel just google biodiesel, you will find lots of good info out there. Appleseed is the name of a site that has free plans to build your reactor out of cheap stuff.
